Blog Post Check List

When you’re first learning how to blog, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the shear volume of information out there.

Numerous other blogs, websites, articles, teleclasses, videos, books, coaching and podcasts are readily available to help you get started, stay motivated and achieve your blogging goals ~ whatever they are.

But whenever I’m looking at the El Capitan of information for something I need to learn, I like to break things down into steps and routines so it’s easier for me to apply.  That way I have a convenient guide that helps me be successful, and I build competence and confidence to then go to the next level of learning. Join Dojo Radio host Lee Rodrigues and us,  special guests Cheryl Liquori and Beth Barany, to learn the secrets to writing great blog posts.

Cheryl and Beth are the hosts and founders of the Breakfast Blogging Club, a series of monthly blogging workshops in Oakland and Pleasant Hill. In addition to answering your questions, they will share tips and writing exercises that will help you to define your target audience, make time to write, tailor your writing to a blogging format, and more.

If we’re lucky, they may even share the Breakfast Blogging Club’s secret handshake.

The show will air live on Wednesday, May 13 from 3-4PM PST (6-7PM EST) at www.blogtalkradio.com/Dojo-Radio/. If you can’t make it live, don’t worry — you can always listen to the archived version later.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT WRITING BLOG POSTS?
Lee designs these radio shows to be as useful as possible — so tell us what you want to hear about!

Call In: The best way to ask a question is to call in to the show live at (646) 716-9210.

Breakfast Blogging Club Our first Breakfast Blogging Club Workshop was a delicious success!

A full workshop, nine cool people (and one no show) up to interesting endeavors, plus Cheryl and I (Beth), ate breakfast, talked about writing then actually blogged.

Here’s what one of our participants said:

“One of the best seminars about blogging I’ve taken. The first time I went to a seminar in a long time where I wished it was two hours longer!” — Judi Townsend, Mannequin Madness

We’re excited to announce our next workshop, Tuesday, March 10, 9-11am, at the Z Cafe & Bar (same time and place). Over half of February’s participants have signed up for the March workshop, so we only have a few spots left. Contact us to secure your spot today. More details here.

Due to our success and the overwhelimg interest, we will open up a second date in March. We’ll keep you posted!

To Your Blogging Sucess!
