When it comes to corporate blogs, you probably don’t get much bigger than Google. And one of my favorite websites in the entire solar system, Hubspot, published a post this week on 4 Business Blogging Lessons from Google’s Chief Blogger. Gosh, I think I’d like a title like that some day….
And guess what! Their Chief Blogger is a woman! Suhweeeeet!
Our Super-Blog-Chick, also known as Karen Wickre, answered 4 questions about blogging for business and how to do it effectively. While Karen provided good tips for corporate types, I’d like to add my insights on how they translate for the entrepreneur, the small business owner, the self-employed professional, and the DIY business blogger. 8 Reasons to Say Thank You
First of all, a HUGE thanks to all the folks who’ve come to our Breakfast Blogging Club(BBC) meetings and workshops over the past year and a half! We’ve been slowly and steadily getting the word out. So more and more people are hearing about us and joining in the blogging fun. Cool!
As of this month(April 2010), we’ve had over 25 meetings and have helped over 200 entrepreneurs with their blogging efforts. That’s a modest number, I know. But I wanted to take a moment and acknowledge some of the people and establishments that have helped us get this far. Read more
Gratitude to Our Fellow Bloggers
Our first Breakfast Blogging Club Workshop was a delicious success!
A full workshop, nine cool people (and one no show) up to interesting endeavors, plus Cheryl and I (Beth), ate breakfast, talked about writing then actually blogged.
